Hey guys!
I used to play EE and AoC back in the day with some of you guys I see on this forum. Mid Sh all the way, hands down. I started getting nostalgic recently, and tried to find my CD to play again. However, it has disappeared. So I was going to get a cracked version and join you guys in the new lobby client. I was just wondering if you guys could give me an estimate of how many people we see online now. I'm sure it fluctuates, but I wanted to know if there's still a decent amount of people playing. I mean right before I stopped playing I recall EE 1 only had about 100+ players on a good day. The majority of the time it was around 50-80. Still the same?
Just let me know. Good to see you guys still working to keep this great game alive.

Re: Potential return to EE?
in lobby we have on average 70 players on around the peak hours. Not alot I know but pretty much all of them are experienced ee players. However, if you add the number of people on GR (GameRanger) aswell (alooooot of noobs) u'd probably have something like 200-250 (hard to tell as GR doesn't have a player count). Now, if you play aoc mid sh I'd recommend only getting the lobby. If you play both aoc and eec mid sh I'd recommend getting both working, since when it's out of peak hours on lobby you can always find a decent mid sh eec on GR.

Ah, okay, I gotcha! Yeah, I used to play in both. I prefer just regular EE because the special abilities from AoC just wasn't my thing. I liked to keep things simple hahah, but I still wouldn't mind jumping on AoC for some Mid. I've never used GameRanger, but do I just download it and look for games? If the interface is friendly I shouldn't have a problem unless I need to tweak my settings or something.

Re: Potential return to EE?
Yeah u need to run 2 versions of EE in order to play both places. On GR u need patch alpha 1.5 (u can google it, where u'll also some some useful install guides I think), and on lobby it's version 2.2. Having both is best imo. But yeah u download GR and look for games, basically like lobby, but lobby is easy to use cause it's all like the old lobby pretty much
