Allright next screen in my 1v1 series is an ESGL match against DancingTears from Heros. I won 2-0

Both games are from jan 9 2005

Also, since you're all here... I found these indy tl screens in my EE 2.8 folder, sorry

Today's 1v1 screen is from jan 16 2005 vs slippy. It was at that time we were mortal enemies lol and I kinda showed off after my win. Not proud of that today but it's funny to look back today.

Today's screen is from an ESGL indy sh match against phantom. I lost the first game and won the second. stupidest loss ever in the first game where I thought he was way ahead and made a desperate attack. When I saw stats I realised I was way infront and was able to use my superior eco in the second game. Jan 21 2005

No. I definitely should have won both games like this.

Edit: He was still alot better than most other liga players, but thats not saying alot. For example I was able to beat both ras and BE almost singlehandedly in a clanwar around this time. Liga only players at this time were indeed liga only.

Hah well spotted. I never seemed to need a strong defense in my base at this time. Like in grenwar i rarely built houses or towers. Of course if I got forced into defense i might have gotten some houses up

Wasn't home yesterday so u get 2 games today! Sadly it will include my first ever loss in a 1v1

First game was a liga islands game from july 16th 2005 vs Soldierhörnchen. It was some sort of ladder game and I believe we played both plains and islands. Funny thing tho, most people in this ladder were beating him on plains but losing in islands which was his specialty. Well don't fuck with a captain on the high seas

was a gg!

The other game is also a ladder one vs the organizer, Moldran, july 18th 2005. I lost this game, and was surprised by how good he was since he had some other wierd losses. I think at this stage I was very very weak in ages such as middle but allright in ww1 ->

Big jump to 2006 now as I was on a sort of boarding school all year (Efterskole), pretty common in Denmark. Anyway this game was mid SH vs underground and he was definitely a smurf but I never found out who. Both went CA but for some reason he didn't add enough ballis and I could finally get him off his hill. april 1st 2006

Would agree with that sentiment. FYI for everyone else: At the time some of the more elite SH/TL players were moving to Liga so occasionally some Liga players would venture over to SH/TL games. The learning went both ways. That's why now you see expert all-setts players. Unfortunately not enough people got into DM

True ghost. DM was somehow too different for most people.

Next 1v1 is vs buffyeatsmyheart. some smurf idk who it was he hosted mid dm 1 cit vs 20 and thought I'd give it a go without knightrushing him cause that'd just be stupid lol. It was probably kilta btw he used to host that shit. gg! april 9th 2006
