hey guys im one of the original EE gamers been playing since 01 early 08 got off. if anyne was around back then my gamer tag was CD™ or mr. yellow. if you guys are still able to play this let me know what i have to do i have been wanting to play it agian real bad lately.

There is an auto patcher to patch your games, and also there is instructions how to join/host games.

i dont understand the forum

I discovered this a long time ago... they have a pretty small community of players that use a LAN tunneling system to play online. In China there's a shortage of IPv4 addresses, so it's extremely hard for them to host on the Direct Connect system we use. Their system is kinda buggy because sometimes it's hard to get games to show up, but it gets the job done for them.

Some of them are pretty good, they play a lot of Indy TL and their version of Liga is P2N Large Islands without custom civs (everyone just picks Austria and booms at the start) and there is no F11 rule like our P2N Islands players use. They also like to use larger maps so it's hard to rush and kill them, but their Indy TL strategy is very similar to ours (though not perfected). For a long time now, they've used a patch that turns the tribute screen button into an idle citizen button, which prevents glitching.

A handful of them speak English and for about a month I played games with them regularly, and I think some of them play(ed) here on Save-EE but there was never really a mixing of communities. Their community is very tight. All clan discussions are on the same board and they do share quite a bit of strategy. It's something I'd like to model this board after, but the people in our community like to have their own clan forums (which I respect) and a handful also play on GameRanger, so both those things kinda limit our community's ability to stay connected.
