Yeah, if you're looking for Mod DM you won't find it unless you do some networking and get some people together.

mid sh is pretty much dead and theres no competition anyways... saddening.

Try make a Quick Match System, Ubberhost (Player Stats, How Much Wins, How Much Loss).

sup crimson. Im rarely on lobby, but u can catch alot of games on GameRanger (no mod dm tho but mod sh is ok). lobby is sadly p2n only now.

I still wonder why people going to GameRanger (A.k.a: A lamer version of Save-ee, A.k.a Laggranger/Fagranger)

There are only 2 advantages of GameRanger.

1) For lazy people who don't know how to do anything, they press Join Game and the game eventually will start itself (when the host press start game.)
2) You don't have to open ports. (Or if your router is stupid, you still need to open the gameranger ports, instead of doing this just forward 33334-33336 and play in lobby)

There are (*) disadvantages of GameRanger.

All games are instant lagging more then default.
Most players playing in gameranger have a terrible internet speed therefore it laggs even more.
90% of the players use the famous buttons ALT + F4. In example: You rush someone and killed him in F11 3 minutes (which "surprisingly" *lol* happens ALOT.) the player thinks "Oh I've lost let's quit this game.." BAM, he hits ALT F4 to save time being a total selfish, ignorant, arrogant, retarded player.

After you tell users to not use ALT F4, instead press F10 and press the "Quit Game" button, they either don't understand you, or they don't want too because it's too complicated for their low-level brains.

In GameRanger it's possible to cheat in multiple ways (there are 2 ways of cheating in the tribute section and I've heard there is another way.)

In GameRanger players don't get punished for disrespectfull behaviour and/or cheating (which actually is disrespectfull behaviour.)

As all GameRanger players say "BUT OMGAWD THERE SO MANY MORE GAMES!!!?!!".
YES and NO.

Yes because there are certainly more game rooms, and No because 80% of the games hosted are private, unpatched or settless (With settless i mean its a random game with no known players to play a decent set such as p2n, middle sh, indy etc etc.)

In GameRanger you have to pay ... $ to have more then 50 friends and/or 50 blocked users. (So if you've found 50 laggers/cheaters/people you don't like, you'll have to buy a silver or gold account.) Unless you debug your gameranger profile and become an illigal gold member. (Not naming names so I'll just say the patch maker of 1.5 and his ~RC~ crew did it, aswell as RoK members (RoK no longer exists in GR it's now the former nR "clan".)

I still don't know why people are playing in GameRanger these days, and I still don't understand why I started playing there. But my goal will be recruiting GameRanger players into Save-EE Lobby, and I'm going to think about it how to do it and what the best way of doing it will be.
