so forum has become pretty dead lately...lets debate about something interesting.
write your strats on how to kill knights with swords (both eec and aoc). GO!

I'm sure people will be wanting on comments on there strats for improvement,(maybe there strat doesnt cover a certain aspect and have a big floor that they just haven't thought about).

I usually just mix in cata and persians, and if he gets balista I get pikemen.

I quickly swap to vikings and it's gg for the knightplayer.

So, sword vs knight. Is this you, herik, asking for advice or just to make forum more active? If so, I want to hear your strategy.

the topic should have been named "how do you lose to swords with knights" cuz thats almost impossible especially if skill level is same. herik strikes again folks

good swords player can stil win faith i saw ec dave own so many people when he was against knights or what ever but he was best swords player ;p

But if your on about aoc knights then its different story but all ya need is some effective eco kills with swords then its hihi if you keep enermy busy with swords while ya booming up or mixing or getting fast hero they you will be fine v a knight player

Just making an interesting topic for because forum has being dead for like 3 months...
the strat I used most when I played. was rushing swords and always trying to harass there eco (hunt mines/wood/forage), while harassing (figure out how much swords each harass (different circumstances)). while doing this aim for a hero 10-15 fll. (make 2 houses at start of game(u can stop early knights)). get a decent mass with hero. go for mines at the side first if u can (stop production of knights), otherwise do a front attack. keeps rallying swords to his base while main army with hero conintues to push him back in his base

Knights are not very good in a 1v1. It's an auto-loss against ca, and as long as a sword player can keep them off 2 gold mines for a while swords will win, too. Knights are just too expensive, and require too many resources and upgrades before they reach their peak strength.

well his a scenario for you texas-what about vsing a passive knight player? that builds 4 houses and a hosp and walls 3 parts of his base but leaves one funnel entrence

well herik if they wall they normally wall between tree line that means make barbarians then its gg before game even begins
