[DRAG]
Range - counters mirror
Hp -mirror / +gren
Att -mirror / +gren
Speed -all / =backline (super slow imps, explore)
[GREN]
Range - counters drag slightly
Hp - all
Att -cav / +gren
Speed - =frontline / +siege (max without civ bonus = most under rated)
[IMP]
Speed - counters cavs
Hp -drag / +gren
Att +gren
Armor +drag / ++gren
[SIEGE]
Att - early-mid pressure
Range - Light amount of siege
AoE - late game
Speed - super slow all (max = most under rated)
Rate of Fire - 4 or 5 resets, instead of 3 micro split
HP/Armor - Hero + Houses + Hospital, a few accompanied by 6 buildings > more than a tower for an early mine or forward base could ever do.
————————————————————-
Eco Training - I highly recommend only aiming to create Siege to learn economy balance. Gold Bonus
I strongly recommend only creating a warrior hero to learn economy transition. Iron Bonus
————————————————-—-—--—-
**A Warrior Hero is [extremely cheap],
always keep that in mind!**
(before a 3rd mine, it's ideal to priority - way cheaper than it seems)
——————-——--—————-——--—-——--
Besides imps, Speed is for strategy heroes.
Always train without CR(cost reduction) on Buildings
Helps a lot with memory and rotation
Forage Bonus only to understand TL.
Farm/Stone to understand DM.
Wood/Nothing to understand Pre2Mod
If the last three confuse you, it's not the idea until you base the first two. //
——————-————————-————————--—
-NanoSL 10 Citizens, [Reaper]
-DarkTH 15 Citizens, [Gold]
(Eco/Military 'rush/boom' emphasis - Big/Small upgrades.
nano standard low; dark tournament high)
————————————-—-——--——-—-——
Tip: One attack upgrade only for both imps and siege.
+ Rate of Fire on Siege.
I'll update later on folding a line formation
And why it's the same + best thing to do not relying on a box formation or circle formation for random explore approach at no mountain disadvantage.
Tip: If you're facing high hp cavalry - use the box/rectangle formation; double/multi grouped a step or two in difference from each.
You will get get smoked if you don't in a DM/SH world even though you don't know you should know.
Tip: Open Square, finisher on low health army
ie: Retreat/Return a hospital
Tip: Tight Wedge - Soft-Counter Gren / Cav
Wide Wedge - Soft-Counter Cav / Gren
Reverse Tight Wedge - Halberdiers
Reverse Wide Wedge - Counter Hero / Tower
(l2 pre also)
Tip: Circle Formation - Soft-Counter Grenadier / Citizens / Farms
Tip: Circle + Tight Wedge = Get rid of Houses (morale)
Tip: Double open box formation: face the left side right, face the right side left - in that order.
(Imp breach reasons)
Tip: Double Reverse Tight Wedge - Pull back the top of the wedge on the second group \ Horizontal top speed control. (Grenadier Control)
Tip: Cross Wide Wedge - Rear Flank: Full & Half
(Dragoon Quad Critical)
- CycleOfLies, SilentButViolent, HybridEnergy. 2002-2004 / chilled with BONEZ and Wolfy.
Enjoy guys
