Save Empire Earth

I haven't played EE for several years, but after reinstalling it I am trying to bring up a useful function I remembered having. I remember having all of the players being listed above the minimap with various numbers. Is this a true memory? How do I activate that?

This has never been a feature of Empire Earth. You can see the names of other players in a game, once in the game, by accessing the diplomacy and tributes screen (button with shaking hands in the top right), but that isn't what you're talking about.

Perhaps you're confusing a memory of a game that you played in the past that had this feature (I can't recall any, but maybe there is one) along with a memory of you playing Empire Earth?

I suppose that is possible. I know Rise of Nations has this feature, but for some reason I really thought EE had it also, the names were in the color of the team and had the score next to it. Perhaps not.

That is an Age of Empires thing as well. The two games are similar so maybe you confused those two.
