Ready for more EE

Hi everyone! I played EE as a kid and would love to play again with my brother. We don't live near each other and would love to learn how to play multiplayer together. Is that possible at all? Gog.com says the EE servers were taken down years ago, so if someone could help me learn how to play multiplayer EE with my brother, I would greatly appreciate it!
