just joined this today(obviously) was hoping to find some games of AoC, I don't play competitively, I prefer games of "Diplomacy"

Hello GeneralSturnn! Glad you found us. I've seen a couple of diplomazy-like games. Hopefully U can install both EEC and the expansion AOC so you wont miss any of those games since they arent too populair.

I have both of them bought them as Gold Edition back when they were still sold in stores.

It pains me to say you're in the wrong place. Empire Earth used to be excellent for diplomatically based games but with the new patches that removed the ability to use the tribute screen and custom chat it is no longer possible.

I haven't patched my game, I've actually been trying to get friends to buy it off ebay or something simply so we can play.

main thing I want to know: will the population mod work with updated versions? and how do I make mods? I WANT to edit stats, like costs, speed, stuff like that, also wanna allow specific civs to build units, like if you choose Germany you cannot build Doughboys, or Machine Guns or Marines, you instead get German Infantry and German Machine Guns

Sounds like something you should do on a scenario, not mod for the game. If you really want to make a new version of EE then you should ask Omega and pray for help.
