I'm from EE China. We've received your message and we hope that connection can be built between our two sites.
We have hundreds of EE players, and we have our own Tournament platform.
So,let's save EE together,shall we?

Hi, welcome to the forums. I saw two Chinese players on our server last night when I saw the link to your website.
I believe establishing a connection will be difficult. I don't think any of us know any form of Chinese. The majority of our players speak English or German because most are from North America, Europe, and Australia.
I happen to be a US player. Tricky is from England.
After Sierra shut down its multiplayer servers, we have been playing via Direct Connect (IP) and we use a small server/client program that lists the games and their IPs, along with a user list and chat lobby.
Currently we only play with the official Sierra updates and a small fix that allows us to continue using Direct Connect. I noticed on your forums that you have other patches you have made yourself, so we would need to find a medium that would allow us to play together.

I was just intrigued by the amount of people who are also playing EE that we've never come in contact with. Our community has been slowly dieing off, but now I think this might open up an opportunity for us. Hopefully soon we can get more people to play against, with a wider selection of matches.
Edit: currently 9:30PM in New York.

That sounds great.
Besides tournaments,we also make our own campaigns or scenarios.
I hope our players can play more in your server, and so do your players.
700+150=850
That's quite a large number!
About that
anti-cheat patch,I will show you the way to use it as soon as possible.
Edit:New York?Wow

All in all we're more than 150 active players. I think we got atleast about 500 players who paly on a regular basis.

I wouldn't say that many. It's been a long time since we've had 200 people on the server at once.

We generally get a high of 125-130 on at our peak times. Given that, and my knowledge of the lobby activity, I'd make an estimate of about 300 active to moderately active players.

I still think we got about 500 active apylers because: Alot of them are not on daily, many are only on for 2 hours a day => on peak times we got about 120 players on = There have to be more than 200. All togehter with players who only play like once a week I thinkw e got about 500

I still think this needs to be done, and frankly I don't know why the lobby programmers haven't been working on it these past few months, this would be very high on my priority list of things to be done. I'm just curious about a few things tho. What kind of client program do they use? And servers also.
In my opinion the EASIEST way to get a fix on this would be to just get the two server programs to communicate to each other. For example some1 hosts a game in the English/western lobby, the server program communicates to the Chinese one letting it know a game is being hosted with specified parameters such as map type, age, etc so the chinese can post that information onto its Lobby server as if it was just another one of their games.
The second option would be for one community to adopts the others lobby client program.
Third and most difficult option would be to start from scratch and incorporate parts of each lobby into a new multinational one with some centralized server.
All in all if they lobby programmers are still hoping to merge communities the first thing Id try to do is to get in contact with a chinese administrator/programmer of their lobby who speaks english or has some1 who speaks fluent english..
