new gamer here plz help!!!

I am new here.
theres an issue when I try hosting
"NeoEE has not verified if your machine can accept connections..."
And when I do host my buddy has a RIP sign next to his gamertag and the game doesn't start.
plz help!!

Yea this is where I am at. Trying different stuff, like using Zero tier to create a vlan, but not working. I get NEOEE now has their own host, but if I can't host games with my buddies, its not doing me any good waiting around for answers. I am continually trying different thingss..If I figure out a workaround, I'll post.
Not a programmer, but I know enough about computers to figure out something hopefully..lol..

To host multiplayer games the host has to port forward. 33334-33336 TCP+UDP. The other players joining the game room does not have to do it, only the host.

Yes, my ports are forwarded. Still not working, but maybe I will test DMZ just to see
