Hi thanks for stopping in.
I am trying to develop an e-advertisement to send around promoting my business. Does anyone know if i can send e-mail with jpegs, gifs and other media without the "attachments" symbol appearing when viewed by the recipient ? Thanks again

Re: Sending E-mails without attachments.
If you use an HTML formatted e-mail you can use HTML to insert images that are hosted on the web. These images won't be attached to the message since they are on the web, and so the messages won't have the attachment symbol.

Re: Sending E-mails without attachments.
Nice and thanks I've learned a couple of new things here. I published it to the web thro G-mail (thanks Marcus)
So now when my e-ad is received there are no "attachment" clips visible which is what I was after
Now when you click the e-mail, it offers a screen which states something like
" some items have been blocked to protect and stop the sender from accesing your computer." and prompts for a click to allow.
Is this the end result of web publishing ? or am I still missing something ? Thanks again from a < technology noob

Re: Sending E-mails without attachments.
That's just the way e-mail clients are now. By default they block all linked images, movies, sound, etc. and ask the user to allow it before displaying, because linked media could also cause a virus to run. It's not like things used to be when spam flowed rampantly. If you look at it from the user's standpoint, blocking media from random senders is something you want.
