As it stands, we currently have 32 players. I'm expecting we might get a few no shows, so I'll naturally be looking for potential replacements during the next week or even when it begins.

The way I create the groups, is through a seeding system. Now, this is based upon my own personal interpretation/experience, combined with previous tournament results and experience. The chances are, if I haven't played much with you or you haven't played for a while, then you may well find yourselves in a lower position than perhaps you think.

The way I design the groups, is I will divide the 32 players into 4 groups of 8. So the top 8 players in this tournament (imo) cannot be drawn into the same group. You will have one player from pot 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively in your group.

Players who finish top, and second in their groups will advance onto the knockout stages in the winners bracket.
Players who finish 3rd/4th in their groups will progress through to the knockout stages in the lower bracket.
This is so players can stay interested and gain experience/learn. I'll show you the four groups of eight I have decided on.
