this is a tournoment, not a simply round robin competition. i believe participants should get to choose their own teams, and who they work the best with, i can see randomizing teams will b a much bigger deal then what i think previous posters seem to think. there isnt any glory of winning a tournament if u only won it based on "luck" of matching up.

the month or so a tournament being placed over may not b a bad idea. given ss and a save of the game/ confirmation from the loser etc
1ce uv finished ur 6 or so games just wait till the end.

edit: u expect every team to have some chance of winning? we are not talking about equal right here, its the best which wins(skill team work etc), those players which don't have much skill don't deserve to win. u starting to get the idea? if it was just a weekly competition or such i would say "yes seeding players would b a great idea to make it even" but its not.

The tournament goers make their teams, i don't give a shit if the teams are stacked or not.
Upon entering the tournament i assume you are at the average or better skill level.
I also assume that everybody is at the same skill level.
Why do you think it's a TOURNAMENT, teams have to COMPETE to win.
If it was even, what competition would be available?

because you want it to be fun not a complete blowout

destroyer i never just said its going to fail, i gave loads of advice of how to prevent it at the same time. get that through ur thick skull.

Since this is a topic about a serious project I suggest you stay on topic and DON'T start your flamewar.

imo this should b viewed as a draft sheet for the real mid sh tournament. my reasons for this are simple. 1. its 8 pages in and the past 7 pages are now almost irrelevant. 2. we still don't have a host of the tournament. 3. it saves a hell of alot of confusion for players who haven't been here on the forum to witness the breakdown of the tournament, as well as those who did. just because i post doesn't mean im going to flame, u obviously intended it towards me. if u look bak u will only c me trying to help. others being immature and accuse me of hindering.
