Ress Improvement

Post by Baron »

i had too much time today, i made a (probably not new) list of the ress improvement while popping the settlement. (
ee ress.xls
free for all
(24.5 KiB) Downloaded 823 times
)
i still learned something new. when the settlement/capitol is at least 4 pieces or more away from the gold/iron/stone mine, the ress bonus is gone. we all know the p2s maps when an iron mine is quite near to the capital, it is a fault letting cits run to the capital because they wont get any bonus.
if the base gets attacked and the cits run from the east to the west of the base while having iron in their pockets, the ress bonus wont be gone. done miles of the cits do not count.

greetings baron ;)

just an addition to ur post, without % but to show what u actually get back. Copied this from a post by me on a MW forum:

0-4 = settlement, 5-14 = TC, 15-50 Capitol

0-0 = 15
1-2 = 16
3-3 = 17
4-4 = 18
5-6 = 19
7-9 = 20
10-12 = 21
13-15 = 22
16-19 = 23
20-23 = 24
24-28 = 25
29-32 = 26
33-37 = 27
38-41 = 28
42-46 = 29
47-50 = 30

This statistics means that when your citizen work and get 15 resources, from iron, gold or stone, you get 15 from a settlement with 0 pop, but 30 from a capitol with 47 pop.

However, this does not count for Forage Patch, Wood or hunt.

Granary:

0-1 = 15
2-3 = 16
4-5 = 17
6-7 = 18
8-8 = 19

Extra tips: Some people say your citizens earn faster/more resources when they have moral and/or when they are in univeristy range, this is NOT true.

indeed, and best is a food power in Civ, maybe Hunting/and / or Farms

both , farm + Hunting takes alot of civ points, when u rush , use Hunting, when u boom use Farms

but one is most important for win when u play a food-Civ, swords/knights etc

when cavs or so, u need wood

What economy to have in ur civilization has everything to do with what setting you are playing.

So am I to believe these findings indicate that you need only 47 cits popped to gain full resource improvement?
