when i want to log on to the ee lobby it freezes when i get to obtaining server ip please wait...can any one help?

Your lobby must be able to access a certain file on this website in order to obtain the server IP. Have you made any changes to your firewall lately?

Well, the file is there and everyone seems to be able to access it but you...

Things to try:

Delete your lobby files, redownload LobbyUpdate.exe
Reinstall .NET Framework
Clear your internet cache/temporary files

It's in your internet options somewhere, depending on your browser.

ive tried all three and still having the same problem....what do i do now?

If there's a router in your house try the lobby on a different computer

ive tried to install the ee-lobby on another user account on the same computer i got this message: access to the path 'Global\net cir networking' is denied

This would likely indicate a problem with, or lack of the latest version of, .NET Make sure you have the latest version of .Net Framework, it can be downloaded at:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... etfx35.exe

That error is unrelated - it has something to do with Windows user account permissions and .NET, nothing specific to the lobby.

Anyway, I really can't pinpoint the problem if the lobby simply "freezes" on the obtaining server IP portion. This just means that the application can't download the information from the file, so something on your end is preventing it from happening.

I asked you to try it on a different machine because if it works on another one, then we then know it's a problem specific to your computer and not with your router or ISP.

yea i got a big problem with the lobby mod it will go up to getting the sever ip and it will freeze up and will not try to evan work i reinstalled it over and over check my internet connection hell i have downloaded every mod you got on the site can you give me something that willl fix this problem because its rly hard to play ee without that ee lobby mod so i can see the ip plz help me this isnt cool at all :/

As of right now, I am not aware of an error on my part that causes this problem. USOLA has the same problem and has either A) solved it and not told us how he did it or B) stopped seeking support from us for now.

From now on, you need to USE PUNCTUATION if you wish to seek support from us. im not going to halp teh ppl who decide to tlk like this in big huge runon sentenencences with shit speelling HELP and r like omg wtf shit donet work so plz fix it kk bye help :*****( If you want support, act like it.

You also need to provide us with some detailed information. Have you changed anything recently on your computer that might have started this problem? Also go through some of the other shit that I've asked USOLA in this topic. I don't feel like repeating it...

i told you the problem... idk what i did to piss you off.. i was just asking for help.. and i have done everything you said to do.. i have tryed turning my fire walls off. i have reinstalled it 15 times dealted my temp files. all i know is it still freezes when it goes to get sever ip. iut was working and i came home one day and it was messed up.idont know what happened i spent the last 7-9 days trying to fix it myself before asking for help. so can you cut me a little slack this is very confsing to me i done everything you said. and its still not working i do not know what to do that why i came here for help.i wasnt trying to be a dick or anything i just wana play ee againe with my friends :/
