Save Empire Earth

So I reformatted my PC a couple of days ago and I wanted to reinstall the save-ee lobby today. So I downloaded the LobbyClient.exe file and ran it. It updated my EE and AoC with the appropriate patches then asked me for my login info, which I correctly supplied. It opened up the lobby interface and I got this...

I had some trouble installing .net framework before I downloaded the client file. I installed .Net 4, but the Lobby wouldn't run with that, so I used .Net 2 and I got a bit further. I didn't uninstall .Net 4 before I installed .Net2 over it, but I wouldn't have thought that would cause a problem.

Ok so installing .NET v2.0 over top of v4.0 doesn't cause problems since they are in totally different folders on your system.

As for the error, I don't know how to fix it because I need you to click on the "Details" button and post everything in that box here. That way I can figure out what and where the problem is. Given the name of the error, it's probably some sloppy coding on my part and I can have it fixed in no time.

Do you have Internet Explorer still installed and enabled? If you uninstall it, you won't be able to use the lobby. The lobby chat is a web browser window, and .NET web browsers implement IE.

Ok it is working now. As soon as you mentioned IE I had a feeling it would be related to the windows update for IE that needed my PC to be restarted, which I hadn't done yet.

i seem to be having a similar issue although i still have IE and have had no recetn NET. framework update.
It worked at one moment then my computer overheated and rebooting auto, upon reloading i tried to load the client and was presented with the same framework popup, details listed below:-

Navigate to that file and delete it. It seems that it has been corrupted.
