I have a problem, I am doing a Roman Campaign and I am doing the level "A conqueror meets his tale" with Julius Caesar. The game asks to me to pay 200 gold to the other city, but i can't (with this game version) pay any tribute. In what way can u solve this problem and complete the campaign? How did you reach to complete it? Please answer me, even if there isn't a solution

The solution is simple: In the lobby patch tab, click the button that says 'remove all patches and mods, reset to default sierra version'. This will set you back to the official sierra version of 2.0, on which you CAN tribute. You can then re-patch at any time you desire just by hitting the button that does patch updating.

ok let's see if i have understood: when i have to do a campaign, i delete the patches and when i need to play multiplayer, i put the patches on. But this continuos work doesn't delete the savegames or damages the game's files and patches?

Leaving from jokes, it's a pity we can't pay tributes in multiplayer games..... bah i am sure admins will find a solution.

eco glitchers? Who are they? People who use glitchs for their purpose and so cheaters? Is this what you mean?

Exactly. With the tribute screen you are able to glitch resources, therefore cheating.

ah i see how sad it is.........bah i hope someone will find an antiglitch patch or some other thing.....but the important thing now is that we can in fact PLAY online thanks to the lobby don't you think so? Just this is a great, incredible one

this is the anti glitch patch, no tributes

hey, I have the same problem and can not pay the 200 gold to the other city. My questions is, where do I find the "lobby patch tab" and the button that says 'remove all patches and mods, reset to default sierra version'. I have the lobby patch as well as the EE Complete Version by xootle (viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4889).
Please if anyone could give me a hint. I love to play the campaigns and would love to go further then to the fifth mission. Thanks in advance!

The solution here is a bit outdated.
Go to www.neoee.net and download the NeoEE patch there. This patch has reinstalled tributes in the game, with the 1 change that you are not able to cancel tributes. The patch also rebuild in game Multiplayer servers, so you will be able to finish the campaign and still play online if you want to.
