Save Empire Earth

Hey all,
just today I found this game in my old game box, and as the original Multiplayer wouldnt work (yes i know the servers are shut down) I found this awesome lobby. I did everything in the guide on the main page, several times, and I double checked that everything was right every time.
What I did:
I installed EE.
I installed and ran the lobby.
I patched my version to 2.0
I installed the direct conenct patch (WONlobby.cfg)
When i manually check the cfg file the CDkeyCheck line is marked with "false"
I copied the Ip of a game I would like to join.
But if I start my game, go on multiplayer and want to do the thing like he does in the guide, only this, other lobby shows up: (Its german but im pretty sure it looks the same in the english version)

Any help on what I have done wrong or what I missed?

By that look of that screenshot I think you didn't patch right, I am pretty sure that is the case 95%, 5% is I can't read german etc etc. So Just fresh install EE/AoC and then go to patch tab on lobby again, autodect install directories, auto update. That would make sure you install the patches in the right order

Thanks for your post reply, but I reinstalled the game a lot today, and everytime I have a fresh copy, it seems to be already patched? Because when I autodetect the game and than try to patch it, this shows up:

Click the button up top that says "Auto-Update"

You must be clicking only the direct connect patch button, because there would be more going on in the patcher window if you had hit auto-update.

From the screenshot of the game, you must still be on 1.0 or 1.0.4.0 because the multiplayer screen would look different for 2.0.

Thanks for your fast answer, but no, I also tried the Auto update button.
Some kind of process is going on for about 2 seconds but that does not change anything.

When im in the game, it says I am in v 2.2 in th left upper corner.

I will try updating my game to v 2.0 again tomorrow, I hope that will solve it.

Is your copy a legit version? CD Install? Good Old Games install? or is it pirated?

Definitely a legit copy of the game, it's the original disc and box, and I also have a key.
I remember getting it for my birthday when I was younger <3

What OS are you running on ? 32 or 64 bit? If you want you can try another way which is 066

Hm, im runnin on Windows 7 64bit ultimate.

I think it works now for me. I had some problems with the autopatcher from the lobbyclient, and Ghost you were right, my game was on v1.0, so I patched it to v2.0 with this external patch.
