Resolution f*cked up

hey guys.. well since ive bought a new monitor i'm not able to play ee anymore o.0 no matter what resolution i choose ingame.. the game is always displayed in 640x480 -_- i made a few screenshots but curiously the chosen resolution ingame is shown on the screens .. any ideas?
reinstalling etc doesnt help.. monitor too new?

The intro video, and menu screens of EE will always be shown at 640x480. The in-game resolution is what changes when you change your resolution, nothing else.
Sorry, but EE is behaving for you the exact same way it does for everyone else.

i think you didnt get my problem.. EVERYTHING is shown in 640x480 no matter if i choose 1600x1200 or something else..
