If you understood how anti-virus programs worked, you would understand that it's not hard to get a false positive. But, you don't, that's why you're posting here. If you want more information on how this is possible, you can Google yourself a decent article that discusses it in plain English. So anyway...
I can guarantee you that if you download a file from the save-ee.com domain name that it will not be a virus (this includes files that the lobby automatically downloads or starts downloading from one-click patchers, but not everything that some of these trolls on the forums link to). Anything we provide is nothing I haven't used or tested personally.
Basically, it's a matter of trust. Do you trust the source of the download enough to ignore your anti-virus? Do you trust your anti-virus enough to be a 100% (or whatever %) accurate detector? Well, by most standards Save-EE is not a totally credible source, but that is subjective in nature. If you ask the majority of AoC players in the lobby, "yo bro, does this aoc no-cd crack work? is it a virus?" they will tell you "it works like a champ, brah, no virus included".
TL/DR: It's not a virus you sissy.
