Hosting Problem

I am trying to host a lobby so my friend and I can play. I'm able to use save-ee lobby client and get him into my lobby in the game. We set everything up and start it. The problem is as soon as it gets to the loading screen, it crashes for whoever is hosting and gives the empire earth has stopped working error. We have all patches installed including omega's patch and both our versions match.

I have
-uninstalled and reinstalled the game
-Tried gameranger
-Tried every compatibility mode and running as administrator
