Yesterday I needed to re-install windows 7. Now I am having problem with installing EE. When I put original CD, it starts installing correctly, but I got following error at 81 %:


Component transfer error

Component: Main error
File Group: Data
File: E:\data2.cab
Error: Datavirhe (CRC-tarkistus) *


* Finnish, says dataerror and CRC-check.

It is same everytime I try. I did have same problem last time I installed game, but that was few years ago and cant remember anymore how I fixed it. I tried to google it, but no help. Any advices?

After installing windows again, have you done all the Windows Updates?
I find that every time I forget to do all those, I face many wierd problems and my computer wont run smoothly.

If it still doesn't work I would try downloading EE unlimited and try that.

Yes I have updates done.
