Usher's Raymond v Raymond Deluxe Edition is pretty damn good. I listen to mostly rock and some rap, but I love to party and this album has some serious hits on it.

Eminem's Recovery - also bad ass. Every song on it is well rounded and I'm so glad it doesn't suck total dick like Relapse.

I really like Sevendust, and I think Cold Day Memory was a solid release in comparison to their last few albums.

Overall though, I'm pretty disappointed with new rock albums this year. Mainstream rap was much more successful this year IMO, with good albums from Ludracris, Drake, and B.o.B. (in addition to Eminem, as I've mentioned). If you love Lil Wayne I guess you can kinda throw him in there, but Rebirth was pretty terrible in my book and I Am Not a Human Being only has a couple of good tracks.

Totally have to agree. Soooo much more mature than his old stuff.
And it's good.
No Love is my absolute favorite song from the whole CD
