I read his correction. I decided to give the actual answer instead of just what he was asking.

Either way, you're still 100% dead wrong. I gave the breakdown to show that (and also, giving the breakdown answers his clarified question as well as answering the given, more interesting question) :)

You can't have 48 90 degree angles between the hour and minute hand in 12 hours, since there are only 24 of them that occur in that period of time.
Do i need to make a drawing? Maybe take a picture of every single one?

Think about it. At around 6:15 you're going to have a right angle, and then again at 6:45.
Now...
at around:
12:15, 12:45
1:20 and 1:50
2:25 and 2:55
3:30 and 3:60 (4PM, exactly)
4:35 and 5:05
etc etc..
that, i guarantee you, will end up with 22 degree angles in a period of 12 hours. and 44 in a period of 24 hours.

Carlos is absolutely correct about the 22 thing.

Any retard with a winding wristwatch can show themselves that it is 22 in 12 hours. We really don't need a bunch of drawings, thanks for offering though.

in response to the # 24:
there will be two right angles between the minute hand and hour hand per hour. the pattern goes +30, +35. However the 2nd right angle for 2 is shared with the first right angle for 3 - in other words 3:00 is the 2nd angle for 2 and the first for 3, and the same for 9:00. unfortunately this means that we must do subtraction. subtraction may be hard so ill try to go through it step by step.

2 right angles per hour in a 12 hour period
2x12 = 24
2 times that a right angle is shared for an hour
24
-
02
remember, 02 represents two, do not confuse it with 20 where the 2 represents 2x10. therefore do 4-2 and 2-0. you would do this because the 4 is in the ones place and the two corresponds to the ones place. likewise the 2 in 24 is in the tens place and the 0 in 02 is in the tens place.

therefore 24-2 =22

thanks
