NOTHING.
You realy think that ? WoW .
I kinda like the feeling of my floor rumbling when a siege cannon lets one go or when an A-bomber drop's it's load ; Or the rumble of a hand grenade exploding in Counter Strike. A machine gun spraying bulletts also sounds very sweet in surround sound. I dont think I would enjoy fragging nearly as much without awesome audio.
Thumbs up :thumbsupr: :thumbsupl: for subbage and surround sound.

http://www.svsound.com/products-sub-cyl-pc12_nsd.cfm

I just bought that bad boy for my surround sound system and that is true quality in its construction and the sound. The thing is massive, and that's only their low-end model. I'm 6' tall and it's waist high. I did put on a few hard hitting songs just to give it a test drive and the fucker shakes our whole damn house (it's a big house too).

Those puny little 2.1/5.1 PC systems don't have shit on a quality home theater. They'll never be able to even emulate the sound of a real system, no matter how fancy the mix-amp is.

As for your huge JVC speakers, those are only good for making a lot of noise, not quality sound. If those are better than the systems at your discos/clubs then your discos are pretty shitty lol...

I wont go over the differents of a desktop sound and normal speakers again I think...

And i didnt even tell you what JVC'S I have neither put pictures or anything, so I dont think you are able to judge them at all.

A Friend of mine got this PC12-NSD, and I wasn't really convinced by it.
Obviously I rebuilded my JVC's a bit and worked on them half a year getting extra speakers in, I have got 3 JVC's. Also I have got an extra subwoofer on the system.
And don't think you guys are interessted in which tweeter and speakers and how i did the whole whing, so I will just leave it.

The PC12-NSD , is a subwoofer isnt it ? So where do you get the quality SOUND from ?

Yes it's a subwoofer. It may not be the full range of sound but it does have quality on the low-level, which is what it's designed for. Having a good sub is integral for any type of sound, whether it be from a movie, a game, or music. You can't get speakers that have high quality and performance across all lows, mids, and highs.

As for my other speakers, which I bought used on eBay considering my budget, a pair of Pioneer S-H453F-K towers for fronts and in another auction I got matching S-H253F-K bookshelves for my surrounds. All are very nice speakers for the prices I got them at. The towers have been able to hit all the highs and mids I've needed them to and the bookshelves handle a fairly wide range on a solid level.

The PC12-NSD sub is the most expensive piece in my system because I REQUIRE overwhelmingly good bass. When I throw a party, I want it bumping. When I play games and watch movies, I want to feel the explosions next to me. You can't achieve the same feel with directional speakers.

You cant go wrong with Pioneer at all , I love Pioneer doesnt matter if it is speakers or CD players. This brand is legend.
Sounds like a great system now.
Agreed , I also requiere a very high bass, maybe the fact that House/ Handsup / Hardtrance / Hardstyle, is consistently having bass in it , and thats the music I listen to all day.
You got a nice system, and ebay rockz in price I guess.

Ya the specs on that PC12-NSD are tight. Nice low frequency response. Enjoying audio without subbage is like eating toast, without butter; dry and boring :D
Customm, i see you changed your avatar from those dinky 2.1's to those sweet looking towers. Nice!
Check out these bad boys. I love em for their wood finish.

Okay, my sound system is bascially 2 parts.

I am using 3x JVC SX-M7 for an amazing sound.

And 3x Peerless XA 10 S as subwoofer, and trust me they dont weight 45 kg each , for nothing.
Just they I cut the subwoofers out and installed TS-W2501D4 Pioneer 2.500W subwoofers ;)
Since I had 3xPeerless with 2 Tweeters each I have 6x TS-W2501D4 Pioneer.

I bought the Peerless XA 10 S first and used them a lot, but wasnt satisfied with them anymore and bought the Pioneers later, but still really pleased with the heavy wood the Peerless's are build off, so i keeped the body. This is what I play my music with. :thumbsupl:

EDIT : I got the Subwoofers as present and the JVC's from my grandpa when he didnt use them anymore.
