I got to say a view things to they complete direction of this game now.

I think the complet 'LEADING' staff has a problem , that you have no connection to the community, Omega , ghost , nola , maybe you are time limited but you direct a game which you dont even play ? Take part in conversations about Skills and set that you didnt touch since years. I mean Ghost okay , sometimes he playes.

Have you ever seen a bank manager who doesnt work in this bank ? It sounds a bit funny but thats exactly the same thing.

Furthermore your DISPENSIBLE rules , over rules. 85% of them are unnecessary. And the community hates them, dont you say you work for the community ? Non sense there.

Furthermore you say that the community wanted this tribute screen to be gone. HA ! 50% couldnt read you educated english in the bias poll's. Its funny but it seems that you sometimes forget to think. Not everyone can speak english , and especially many people cant understand this high level english. Also, why do you even think about changing the game ? Why did you come up with the idea to intervent this great game. Even to ask the community about such a thing, is fail-leading. That are questions that you maybe cant even answer.

Just an advice, get back to the community and maybe understand their view of point.

First of all, I still play a bit, and a bunch more now that I'm just working for a few weeks, without any summer classes to go with it. Ghost also still plays.

Additionally, it's not like anything at all (or at least very much) has changed skill wise in settings since when we last played them // when they were last popular (which, we've been around long enough to remember). In a few cases the, the set of strategies and tactics for a particular setting has even advanced a bit, but in most cases I'd say it's actually degenerated or remained the same, and I don't think you can really argue with this.

It would be more like a bank manager who doesn't bank at the bank he works for. The people who run the lobby are the bank managers, and the activity of playing ee is banking. Your analogy doesn't even make sense.

Either way, an argument by analogy is pretty unconvincing because analogies break down fairly easily. For example, in your analogy the bank manager gets paid. Save-EE staff are strictly volunteer. (And we'll go with my second better one, because it's obvious that we actually do work in and involving the lobby... making your 'does not work in the bank' kinda fail... and I could go on about how a bank is a physical institution whereas the lobby is a virtual one, rendering the word "at" in your analogy suspect), and the act of banking with a particular bank is an efficient way to store money with many advantages, and which requires an extremely low time investment. Basically, it has a tangible benefit, whereas playing Empire Earth requires a fair amount of free time, doesn't offer anything intrinsically valuable//useful, and just offers some enjoyment.

Instead of just asserting that many rules are unnecessary, perhaps you could actually list the rules in question and explain why those rules aren't necessary and why the entire community supposedly hates them?

As for your assertion that most of the people voting couldn't understand... It's not *that* difficult to type the words into google translator, and select your own language--google translate did a passable job for quite a few languages on the poll. Additionally, for German speakers, they could simply ask Pelie what the options meant, in German (and yeah, google did a passable job for the german too), etc. It's an extremely widespread political tactic that when a certain camp looses, they claim that all the people who voted for X just didn't understand Y as a rationalization so that they can avoid questioning the validity or popularity of their own position--for US elections is pretty much goes like 'the republican//democratic candidate only won because people just don't understand what the true platform of the republican//democratic party is, and how bad it will be'. As such, I don't find this argument very convincing, either, especially as anyone who didn't understand in english, did in fact have options that could allow them to understand enough to make a choice (or at the VERY LEAST delay making the choice).

If there was a game that was no longer supported, that many people still played, and which had outstanding issues like a bug that allows people to make units without paying for them, and you had the ability to fix some of these issues although there would be tradeoffs, would it not be wise to I don't know, present the other people who played with the option, and let them make the call whether they wanted it or not?

Seriously, your supposedly hard questions are honestly a joke, and they're interspersed with nonsensical assertions like "Even to ask the community about such a thing, is fail-leading" that I doubt you could even come 10% of the way to demonstrating as 'more likely than not' much less as likely or probably true.

Ok for one it takes about four mouse clicks to unpatch then four more to patch back up seriously shut up. I mean really the only two things stopping you from playing without the patch is idiocy or laziness probably a mix of both.

Step 3: Play the game


As for CBs being a sett no they are not, stop saying they are, they aren't please stop saying that thanks, and I doubt Elite would care to be banned from a forum with about 20 users half of which probably can't even name the hotkeys for common barracks units.

WoW lol funny thing is they can stop playing for 3 years and let you play every single day for 24 hrs and when they come back they will stil be able to own you. And i never new you have to play ee to have a connection with the community.
