Let it blow your mind that when you raise e to pi times animaginary number you get a real result. :P
i^2 = -1...
lol..
Yes so? e^(pi*sqrt(-1)) also equals -1. However, e^(pi*sqrt(-1)) being equal to -1 is somewhat mind blowing, whereas let there be a number i that is sqrt(-1) and when we square that number let it be sqrt(-1) squared, which is -1, is not mind blowing at all.

This is actually true despite the fact that we have to trave about 1000 years to place that mirror, and after that you have to stand at your "telescope". after you've done that come back at the same spot and you can see yourself in th emirror 20 years ago. :D
You cannot make another post so soon after your last.

That might be true but you can't use that to simplify the equation Megs posted. You can't perform the same operations on complex numbers that you can on real numbers.

WoW, those other formulas are nice and tight and compressed, definitely mind blowing Indeed.
Kinda symbolic to boot also, however ;

That one there is quite euphoric, it embodies all that will ever be required :)

a^2=ab
a^2-b^2=ab-b^2
(a+b)(a-b)=b(a-b)
(a+b)=b
a+a=a
2a=a
2=1
This is obviously isn't right because in order for lines 3 and after to be true, a=b MUST equal 0. When moving from line 3 to 4 and from line 6 to 7 you would be dividing by zero, which is undefined. This would stop the proof before being able to make the conclusion 2=1.
Obviously trolling
And Trichome Indica if you really like math like that, take Calc 2, you'll learn about sequences and series, which is basically recognizing patterns and shit with numbers, kinda like wut u have in ur first post, to a certain degree...

I was going to copy the Quartic Equation in here, but it was too long :mrgreen:

That's awesome. Could've been useful at some point but I don't have to take any more math classes.
