Ok need help please

Hey Guys right so am new to this n hope you can solve my problem.

i would really love to be able to play empire earth my favorite game of all time
but i have one big problem.

i can start the game get all the way through to setting up a match
but as soon as i press play to start the game, nothing!! it just goes onto a blank wierd screen
that like waves around n changes colours slightly, i have tried changing setting in the graphics
options but no luck, anybody have any ideas??? i would appriciate the help

btw my system specs are:
AMD athlon(tm) ii X2 250
2gb ddr3 ram
NVIDIA Geforce 210
250gb hdd

Are you using an internet download version of empire earth and if so from where or are you using the actual disk.

install the old driectX version from the ee cd.
i had the same proplem but old dX fixed it
