Getting the e-mails from players...to save EE

The reason is in future the players can be contacted to rejoin the Lobby, and the words of Moderators and special efect in that.

Getting the e-mails from players, could be sensitiv, but is the only way to wake up them to the best RTS ever.
.
Is a way to get back ancient players, and the Facebook, is also a way to contact them.
.
This is only one idea to have more players online.

I'm pretty sure people wouldn't give them away their E-Mail in public, tho the admins do have your emailadres since you subscribed to the save-ee forum. Maybe the admins can send an email every now and then to all subscribed players to come back? .

I've done that before, gone to old clan forums from 5-8 years ago and mass emailed them to get players back. It works until they realize that there are no tributes and people only play pre-space now.

I log in from time to time, see only pre2space, log right back off.

That not the problem though. People are willing to come back, we just need to give them a reason to stay.

Hmm, Shanghai Kid started logging on a couple days ago and is trying to get me back into it. We pretty much only play aoc mid sh, but if everything's p2s there's no way I'd stick around for that.

No.. not every game is pre to space. Maybe only like 99% of them. Maybe if you're lucky you might see a mid sh or cb. Or maybe a scenario once in a blue moon. And whenever you host your own non p2s nobody ever joins it. So why would any old player return when people just play the same old crap over and over again? And they never even bother with anything else, despite the fact that there is over 1,00 scenarios and tons more maps and variants. That my friends, is why the lobby died.

Arrangement The reason why people don`t join other hosts is most times that their map sizes are too large. We also see that as a hint that the host is a noob so you should better write in game title "noobs welcome" if you host such a large map. If you do that, even with unpopular sets you will get players.
Try to find friends which also like the other sets (mostly noobs and newbies to the lobby).

Pacience Generally it`s not like that that all works like you want; like in reallife; that`s destiny. For example, when I organised tournies of rather unpopular sets, nearly noone applied. I try it a few months later again maybe but for the moment you can`t do anything. It`s the same with you. So be pacient, adaptive and dogged.

Hosting Indeed, our lobby hostings have become unilaterally apart from that hostings whose games nobody joins and that surely is the reason why many only visit unfrequently. From now on I want to host other sets regulary. I don`t care which set, scen so if you need a host, whisper me and after my game is finished I host it.

You honestly think people don't join games like mid sh/mod tl/ etc. because of map size???? Most people don't even put "3v3,2v2,1v1 etc." in their game titles, how do you even know what the appropriate map size is going to be?

You have two options if your not a pre2space or if you don't want to become a pre2space player
1. Become a pre2space player
2. Quit

Honestly, I don't really understand the lure around p2s. Its slow, and boring, and most of all, the players who engage in this activity are usually the biggest babies out of all the setts on empire earth. No one cries more than a p2s player, and I'm not just talking about losing to someone, it can be about the most retarded stuff. inb4, "o, well you just havn't played the set long enough to understand why its awesome," please i've been playing this game for a pretty long time now, I know my way around pretty much any sett on this game.

I do agree with the fact p2s / p2n is hosted alot these days. Tho AOC mid/mod is coming back slightly and more players would help getting more games up in the air .
