Lol trix barbs take forever to kill a cit. Personally never lost going knights vs swords, and although they definitely lose vs ca so does ca against swords and swords against knights. All units have a chance vs each other but ultimately u have a huge advantage having picked the counter

I'd like to share a story I wrote. It goes like this:

mod tl player says not enough players to play mod tl
gets 2v2, mod tl player says 2v2 is boring
gets 3v3, mod tl player says 3v3 suck 4v4 so much better
gets 4v4, mod tl player says too bad players for a 4v4 game
gets 4v4 only good player, mod tl player does some gay shit which makes everyone leave
mod tl player gets sad, mod tl player blame save-ee for EE dieing.

idk mod tl is fun with 8 good players. but if you dont have that i agree it isn't worth playing. but pre isn't worth playing at all.

Trix in all fairness faith was plenty good enough to join those Ws/eC mid games. I fail to see the big mid players in those clans apart from dave.

Mod tl is the worst of all mod based sets, but it's mod so it's still pretty good. 3v3 being the best tho cause pop isn't too low and it's on medium.. Not saying 4v4 should be on medium tho.

On a more serious note when faced with knights I swap longbows, keeping perhaps a mine or 5-4 cits on iron and getting alot of wood, and then gold. Popping a mine too. Almost stopping sword production and trying to get longbows and an early hero. Succesrate unknown as I really don't do alot of 1v1.

Note thats on eec. On aoc it should be a lil easier to make a civ that can adapt to any given situation.

The hierarchy of modern based settings is as follows:

AoC Mod SH < EEC Mod TL < AoC Mod TL < EEC Mod SH < EEC Mod DM

I did not rank AoC Mod DM above. If one somehow disallows all of the degenerate faggotry that can occur in AoC Mod DM, you have EEC Mod DM with gimped scroll speed and a few additional tactics that don't really matter, making it second on the hierarchy above, unless you really can't stand the gimped scroll speed, making it no lower than third. If one allows all of the degenerate faggotry, however, it ranks dead last. In fact, it wouldn't even be fair to AoC Mod SH to rank as follows: AoC Mod DM << AoC Mod SH. You need to break convention and use "<<<<", at an absolute minimum.
