Your an idiot if you believe Firefox is the best web browser ever in the whole world and it's 100% bug free.
IE is the most commonly used Web browser, right... that means most people will write viruses and vulnerabilities for IE.
IE displays some animated .gif images slower then Firefox.
Firefox scans everything you download before it's added to your computer.
There are a lot of plugins for Firefox on the Mozilla site, everything from making your browser have a 'glass effect' to stopping mal-scripts which install spyware and shit.

Point is, Firefox may not be bug-free (nothing is), but it's a good browser.
